Breaking News : Hornets Top Veteran Set To Miss The Rest Of The Season Due To Torn ACL.

Charlotte Hornets forward/center Grant Williams will miss the remainder of the season due to a torn ACL.

It’s not unexpected. Williams’ injury was a clear indication of a torn ACL, with his knee giving out and collapsing inward as he tried to slow down. He immediately signaled to the bench and was assisted to the locker room. Imaging confirmed what most had already anticipated.

This injury will sideline Williams for the remainder of the season.

If there’s any positive aspect to this situation, it’s that it’s early enough in the season that Williams may be able to return by the start of next season, depending on how his recovery goes after surgery and rehab.
