Breaking News: Garmin have just celebrated the lunch of its first store in UK with……..

Located in Southampton’s Westquay Shopping Centre, the new shop (which opened to the public on 6th November 6th) gives Garmin a great space in a prime location to showcase its increasingly impressive range of watches.

Measuring nearly 1,500 square feet in size, the store will allow Garmin lovers to discuss their product needs with the in-store experts, and get their hands on the watches before choosing what they want.

“We are thrilled to bring Garmin’s extensive product range to one location on the high street in the UK for the first time,” says Garmin’s managing director of the UK and Ireland, Jon Oliver.

“We’re passionate about our products and excited for more customers to experience them first-hand, whether that’s through speaking to our expert staff or attending the events we will hold for the local community. It feels fitting that the next step in our growth in the UK is the opening of this store in Southampton’s Westquay, down the road from our European headquarters,” he continues.

A key part of the plans for the store is the upstairs room (called ‘The Loft’), which is where the launch party took place on Wednesday night.

Ambassadors including Ben Foster, Mia Baker and Iwan Thomas spoke passionately about the positive effects that they’ve experienced in their own training and exercise through the use of Garmin products.

Over time, this same upstairs space will be utilised to host events, gatherings of sports clubs and collectors, and to allow for an even more elevated interactive experience for Garmin’s customers.
