Shedeur Sanders appears to be making it very clear that he plans to join the Las Vegas Raiders for the 2025 season and beyond. Since Tom Brady purchased a minority stake in the franchise, it’s become an open secret that both Sanders and the Raiders have mutual interest.
Shedeur recently hinted at his interest in the Raiders by showcasing a pair of silver and black Nike Air Max DT ’96s with the message “Thank you GOD” on them. This aligns with his tradition of tweeting the same phrase after each Raiders loss this season, implying he’s closely following the team and perhaps signaling his desire to help rebuild it. In a video of the unboxing, Sanders even gave a nod to the Raiders, which fans interpreted as another hint that he sees himself wearing the silver and black.
A further connection between Sanders and the Raiders is his link to head coach Antonio Pierce. As reported by SI’s Kenny Lee, both Sanders and Pierce are represented by SMAC Entertainment, which has fueled speculation that this relationship could influence Shedeur’s future destination.
With connections at all levels in Las Vegas, it would be surprising if Shedeur ended up anywhere else. And it seems Coach Prime may be handling things behind the scenes to ensure it happens.
