Breaking: Tennessee Titans confirm seven players now ruled out including two key starters ahead of Vikings game

The Minnesota Vikings (7-2) conducted a walk-through practice on Wednesday in preparation for their Week 11 game against the Tennessee Titans (2-7) scheduled for Sunday at noon (CT). Minnesota’s initial injury report lists nine players, though the practice session was a walk-through, so the participation statuses are estimated.

Quarterback Sam Darnold (right hand), running back Aaron Jones Sr. (ribs), outside linebacker Gabriel Murphy (knee), tight end Josh Oliver (wrist/hand), tackle Cam Robinson (foot), and outside linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel (hip) were all marked as limited participants in the practice. Meanwhile, linebacker Blake Cashman (elbow), safety Theo Jackson (hand), and linebacker Ivan Pace Jr. (knee) were listed as full participants, indicating they could be available for the upcoming game.

Gabriel Murphy remains on Injured Reserve but is within his 21-day evaluation period, allowing him to potentially be activated at any point during this window. For his return to the active roster, the Vikings would need to make a corresponding roster adjustment.

The Tennessee Titans, also dealing with injuries, reported seven players on their initial Week 11 injury list. Notably, outside linebacker Arden Key (back), cornerbacks L’Jarius Sneed (quadriceps) and Roger McCreary (knee), and tackle Leroy Watson (back) were all unable to participate in practice.

Additionally, Titans running back Tony Pollard and defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons did not participate, but their absence was attributed to rest rather than injury concerns. Defensive back Justin Hardee (groin) was marked as a limited participant.

Both teams are managing injuries in key positions, but Minnesota will hope that some limited participants, including Sam Darnold and Josh Oliver, can recover enough for a full game on Sunday. The Vikings are currently riding a strong season at 7-2 and will be looking to maintain momentum against the struggling Titans.
