Before I get into the specifics of ice skating with the Garmin Fenix 8 AMOLED, I should probably explain the challenge better. Last year, one of my friends decided she wanted to ice skate a marathon, attempting to cover 26.2 miles around a tiny rink on the Johns Hopkins University campus throughout eight 90-minute sessions. She not only succeeded but crushed her goal and decided to push into ultramarathon territory, ultimately logging 31.8 miles for the day.
