The change log indicates that there are six additions with beta version 13.24. These include haptic vibrations when you edit Strength Sets, and HARP calculations, data screens, and the ability to set wind speed and direction in Jumpmaster for skydivers. There are also new low-brightness widget glance backgrounds. Plus, temperature data fields have been added to the Skate activity.
The Garmin team notes that it has enabled predictive text on the smartwatch’s QWERTY keyboard for French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Dutch. The release also brings a wide range of bug fixes for issues relating to bike trainer resistance, Wi-Fi network saves, and HIIT activity timers. On top of this, the problem with duplicate iOS notifications has been resolved, and the passcode digits should longer be cut off on solar models. You can view the full release notes below.
Beta version 13.24 is now available for the Fenix 8 AMOLED, Fenix 8 Solar, Enduro 3 and Fenix E smartwatches (51 mm Solar Sapphire model curr. $833.99 at Amazon). To trigger the update, go to Menu > System > Software Update > Check for updates. It remains to be seen when the next stable update for these wearables will arrive.
