Breaking News: the latest 2025 DJI drone has been spotted during testing in…………

A new DJI drone has been spotted during testing. Seemingly destined for release later this year, the drone has been speculated to be something new from DJI’s Air or Mini series.

Leaker @Quadro_News has shared another cryptic tweet about a forthcoming DJI product, less than a week after his previous missive. For context, the same leaker recently weighed in on the state of the Mavic 4 Pro, details of which we have covered separately.

For now, it is unclear what @Quadro_News is attempting to show in the image below. Incidentally, a similar photo showing what may end up being the Mavic 4 Pro surfaced last year. While the Mavic 4 Pro appears to feature front and centre, the leaker implies that the drone of interest is ‘something else’ that ‘is brewing’.

As a result, some followers have speculated that the drone on top of the Mavic 4 Pro could be an Air 4 or Mini 5. The latter is reported to be in development ahead of ‘late 2025’ launch; there is no news on an Air 4 release yet, though. Added to that, the Mini 5 series may be joined by the Neo 2, a direct successor to the palm-sized drone that arrived in summer 2024. Ultimately, the camera housing closely resembles last year’s Air 3S (curr. $1,099 on Amazon) to confuse matters further.
