Injury News: Tottenham dealing with multiple injuries…

Tottenham entered the international break on a disappointing note after suffering an unexpected home defeat to Ipswich. This setback leaves Ange Postecoglou’s team in 10th place in the Premier League, though they’re just three points off third in a tightly contested table.

Micky van de Ven missed Sunday’s game in north London as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury. Also absent were Richarlison, Wilson Odobert, and Mikey Moore. Van de Ven had been forced off early during last month’s Carabao Cup win over Manchester City due to the injury.

Postecoglou provided an optimistic update on Van de Ven’s recovery before the loss to Ipswich, explaining, “It’ll be after the international break. The timing will depend on his progress, but the end of the break will mark around four weeks since his injury.”

Richarlison, who previously missed two months due to an unspecified injury, sustained another setback after a brief appearance against Aston Villa. Postecoglou remarked, “He was doing everything right; we eased him back carefully to avoid overload, but unfortunately, he had another issue.”

Richarlison expressed his frustration on social media, saying, “It’s a tough time, once again. I was happy working hard and playing, but now I’m injured again. It’s hard to put into words how I feel…please keep me in your prayers. I hope God will protect me.”
