The Miami Hurricanes revealed their 2025 baseball schedule on Thursday, showcasing another challenging lineup packed with top-tier competition. The 55-game season kicks off February 14-16 with a home series at Mark Light Field against Niagara, the reigning MEAC champions.
Miami’s schedule features 12 teams that participated in last year’s NCAA Tournament, including five that advanced to the College World Series. The Hurricanes will face those CWS teams in key matchups: Florida (Feb. 28-March 2 in Gainesville), Florida State (March 20-22 in Miami), North Carolina (March 28-30 in Chapel Hill), NC State (May 2-4 in Miami), and Virginia (May 9-11 in Charlottesville).
“Year after year, we take on one of the toughest schedules in the nation, and this season is no exception,” Hurricanes coach J.D. Arteaga said in a press release. “Our team is full of new faces who have already shown selflessness, accountability, competitiveness, discipline, and resilience throughout the fall. We’re excited to compete and play in front of the best fans in college baseball.”
In addition to home series against FSU and NC State, Miami will host Atlantic Coast Conference opponents Duke (April 11-13), Georgia Tech (April 18-20), and Notre Dame (May 15-17). The Hurricanes will also face Wake Forest, Pittsburgh, and Boston College in ACC play.
Non-conference games include matchups with FAU (road games on Feb. 18 and March 18, home game on April 15) and FIU (road game on March 4, home game on April 2).
