The Las Vegas Raiders have faced significant challenges during the 2024 season.
With a disappointing 2-10 record and eight straight losses, Coach Antonio Pierce’s team is heading toward the bottom of the NFL standings.
The season has been marked by several struggles, including inconsistent quarterback play and a lackluster run game, which have hindered the offense’s ability to compete effectively in most games.
In an attempt to turn things around, the Raiders parted ways with Offensive Coordinator Luke Getsy midway through the season. While the move didn’t yield the intended results, there has been some improvement in the team’s performance.
Despite the adversity, the Raiders’ offense has had notable bright spots. Here’s a closer look at the team’s top three offensive performers in 2024, as evaluated by Pro Football Focus.
Ranked as the second-best tight end in the NFL, trailing only George Kittle of the San Francisco 49ers, Bowers leads the league in receptions and is third in receiving yards.
Thanks to his impressive performances, Bowers is a frontrunner for Offensive Rookie of the Year. He has quickly established himself as a foundational piece for the Raiders’ offense.
With an 81.8 grade, Meredith ranks seventh among NFL guards and has had a career-best season at left guard. He has allowed only five pressures all season, with none resulting in quarterback hits or sacks.
Despite the offensive line undergoing numerous adjustments due to injuries, Meredith has been a dependable contributor, rising from the practice squad to make a significant impact.
Currently ranked 16th among NFL tackles, Miller has allowed 23 pressures and seven sacks, though three of those came in a single game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Recently, Miller has stepped up his game, surrendering just one sack over the past eight matchups. He remains a critical part of the Raiders’ long-term plans.
